Yesterday I told you why I started a Python course again. But I forgot about this.

Today I have discovered in the first lesson that I did not notice something that can make my life easier in my path as a data scientist: the Visual Studio Code workspaces.

How silly — before I noticed this I spent minutes trying to figure out where I kept my Python exercises.

Now everything is easier. And it’s also connected to my second brain in Obsidian.

Wonderful.

Context: “PARA” System

Look: I use the “PARA” system proposed by Tiago Forte to organize projects, work and personal.

PARA stands for Projects, Areas, Resources and Archive. They are spaces ordered from more to less activity.

For example, the documentation for my Python course is in Projects. Every day I update the notes with new knowledge.

Instead, the exercises I finish go to Archive. They are exercises that I will not do again, although I save them in case I want to recover them later.

In turn, the Python course documentation will also go to Archive in a few months, when I finish it.
